A short story.

"The seat beside her was empty." The seat next to her in the library was empty."She cared a naught". She cared a naught. For,she was lost in that book. "Her hair flew around her face, playfully". She took that bit of hair and tucked it gently, behind her ear. "While she waited for him, she whistled a song quietly, to herself." She hummed her favourite song while reading the book. "The song done, she drummed her fingers on her lap, looking for something else to do. Craning her neck in every direction, she tried to spot something that would interest her, something to pass time for. She spotted a book, lying on the ground, staring at her helplessly. She picked it up and dusted it off. Why it was her favourite! The one she had been searching for, a week ago-To kill a mocking bird. She settled herself comfortably on the seat , and started reading." She flipped the page. She hadn't noticed, that a man had filled in the seat next to her, in the library. "Hours went by, she had completed half of the book. She was to turn to the next chapter..." "Oi! Read that later! Come home now!"The man called out to his sister, who was sitting next to him."What? When did you come?" She smiled at him. "Just now", he said. She closed the book, tucked it under her arm and stood up to leave. She smiled to herself. For she knew, what next would be written on that page. "She was to turn to the next chapter when he came to pick her up." Or so she hoped. That would be a beautiful coincidence, perfect to the T!(Between what happened with her and the girl in the book) She thought.
